About the Role
ApolloGrid provides home energy solutions to UK residential customers, including solar PV, battery storage and heat pumps. The MOS Operations Coordinator connects lead generation channels, part-time teams, energy advisers, installers and customers. You will coordinate day-to-day work from lead generation and home visits through to installation, project handover and customer follow-up. You will spot missing information, communication gaps and delays at each stage. Where needed, you will step in to coordinate, clarify who owns the task and what happens next, and follow up until the issue is resolved. Recent graduates are welcome to apply. ApolloGrid will provide training on the business and its operating procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Lead generation channels and partnerships Identify and contact potential sources of customer leads and prospective partners. Compile quotations, service scopes and terms of collaboration, help put agreed arrangements in place and maintain day-to-day contact. 2. Part-time team operations and home visit coordination Help set up, recruit and train the part-time team that carries out home visits. Follow up on day-to-day work, record performance assessments against agreed standards, check payroll records and help improve team procedures. Assign home visits based on customer needs and energy adviser availability. Confirm appointments, track visit completion and feedback submissions, and promptly coordinate rescheduling, address omissions and resolve other issues. Help develop and implement a performance assessment and rating system for energy advisers. 3. Installer network development and maintenance Identify and contact solar PV, battery storage and heat pump installers based on the areas we serve and the needs of each project. Gather information about their qualifications, coverage, installation capacity, pricing and interest in working with ApolloGrid. Help assess and onboard prospective partners, build the installer network over time and keep partner records, availability and service performance up to date to support project scheduling. 4. Site surveys and handover documentation Complete training and work towards carrying out site surveys independently, collecting site information and preparing survey reports. Learn what documentation is required at each stage of a project. Collect, organise and prepare the final customer handover pack, follow up on missing documents and submit the pack to the relevant person for review. 5. Customer follow-up and issue resolution Contact customers after the energy adviser’s visit and again after installation to understand their experience, record questions and outstanding issues, coordinate responses and follow up on the outcome.
Expectations across all work
Check proactively that handovers are clear, each task has an owner and commitments are met on time. When communication breaks down, information is missing or work is delayed, fill the information gaps, coordinate arrangements and track the outcome. Keep accurate records. When management support is needed, explain the background, the actions already taken and any decisions still required.
