Looking for immediate work with ongoing weekend shifts? We're looking for a Catering Assistant to join a busy café within a popular retail setting in Newport. This is a great opportunity for someone with hospitality or customer service experience looking for regular weekend work.
You'll join a friendly catering team, supporting the day-to-day running of the café and helping to provide a welcoming and efficient service to customers. The role includes a mixture of front of house and kitchen duties, from serving customers and preparing food through to cleaning and washing up.

Key Responsibilities
As a Catering Assistant, you will:
Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
Help prepare and set up food and refreshments
Support with counter and front of house service
Assist with general kitchen duties and washing up
Keep customer and kitchen areas clean and well organised
Restock food, drinks and other supplies as required
Work as part of an established catering team
Work weekend shifts as required

Has previous experience in catering, hospitality, retail or a customer-facing environment
Is confident serving customers in a busy environment
Is comfortable carrying out both front of house and kitchen duties
Is reliable, friendly and hardworking
Is flexible and available to work weekends
