Class 2 Driver Needed - Swindon
We're recruiting through The Best Connection Swindon for a friendly Category C Delivery Driver (18 Tonne) to join our team based in Swindon.
Potential permanent position available after a successful trial period
About the Role:
You'll deliver to local independent retailers around Swindon, making sure orders arrive on time and customers feel valued.
What You'll Do:
Work with the depot team to check orders before delivery
Complete daily multi-drop deliveries around South west area
Handle stock carefully on and off your vehicle
Always provide great customer servicePlease note: This role involves regular stock handling.
Hours & Pay:
Monday to Friday, starting at 6 am
£15.00 per hour PAYE
40 hours per week
Immediate start availableWhat You Need:
Valid Category C UK driving licence
Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and your own tacho smartcard
Experience with multi-drop deliveries
Good knowledge of Swindon and surrounding areas
Strong communication and organisational skills
Able to work independently and stay calm under pressure
