Yard Assistant With FLT

Shift Times: 06:00-14:30 Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
FLT /Forklift Counterbalance is required and Telehandler licence is advantageous.

The Role
We are looking for a proactive and reliable yard assistant to support our client's Recycling Operations team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement are key.
You will support all areas of the recycling process, including:
Loading and unloading materials
Machine operation and support
Quality sampling
General housekeeping duties
Assisting the Production Team Leader with operational updates and process improvements
Key Responsibilities
Operate production and recycling equipment safely and efficiently
Follow all SOPs, site procedures, and health & safety guidelines
Carry out pre-start visual safety inspections on machinery and equipment
Keep the yard clean and tidy & move assets around the site
Support continuous improvement activities across the shift
Use a forklift and check safe to use
Essential
Valid FLT / Forklift Counterbalance Licence with extensive experience
Ability to work across operational areas
