Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our client's busy transport operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced drivers and newly qualified Class 1 drivers, with full training provided.
The position offers consistent, long-term work, continuing beyond Christmas, with the potential to secure a permanent role.
Duties & Responsibilities

Driving Class 1 vehicles, transporting steel and tipper loads.

Securing loads using chains and straps (full training provided).

Working as a spare driver, operating different vehicles as required (cab hopping).

Adapting to varying start and finish times.

Completing daily vehicle checks and following transport safety procedures.

Approximately 60 hours per week, subject to operational requirements and drivers' hours regulations.

No nights out expected.

Subsistence allowance.

Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) entitlements after 12 qualifying weeks, where applicable.
Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
