12-week temporary contract leading to a permanent position
Permanent salary: £35,000 per annum
Company van & fuel card provided from day one

The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join a growing social housing contractor working on a disrepair contract across Wigan and surrounding areas.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled operative looking for long-term, permanent employment following an initial temporary period.
Duties Will Include
Carrying out disrepair works within occupied and void social housing properties
Hacking off damaged plaster and preparing surfaces for repair
Full plastering and re-skimming of kitchens, bathrooms and associated areas
Kitchen fitting including units, worktops and finishing works
Bathroom installations and refurbishment works
Completing a variety of multi-skilled repairs and maintenance tasks
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
Maintaining excellent customer service when working within tenants' homes
Requirements
Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative within social housing, repairs or refurbishment projects
Strong plastering skills, including full re-skims and repair work
Experience fitting kitchens and bathrooms
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
