Job Title: General Construction Labourer (Driver / CSCS)
Location: Wepham, near Arundel, West Sussex (BN18)
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Contract Duration: Long-Term / Ongoing
Working Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40-45 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £15.50 per hour (dependent on pay type)
About the Role
We are recruiting a reliable, hard-working General Site Labourer for a long-term position on a project in Wepham (Arundel area), starting immediately.
Due to the site location, holding a full UK driving licence and having your own transport is essential. This role offers consistent full-time hours, long-term stability, and dependable weekly pay for the right operative.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting site trades with daily operations and manual handling tasks.
Unloading delivery vehicles and distributing materials safely across site.
Sweeping work areas, clearing construction debris, and maintaining skips.
Keeping access routes, walkways, and site perimeters clear and safe.
Adhering to site health and safety rules and wearing full PPE at all times.
Requirements
Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above essential).
Full UK Driving Licence & Own Transport (essential due to rural site access).
Full PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, high-vis vest/jacket, hard hat, and gloves).
Previous experience working on active construction sites.
Reliable, punctual, and available for an immediate start.
Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling.
Right to work in the UK.
Working Hours & Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, standard day shifts (40-45 paid hours per week).
