Job Opportunity: Youth Worker - School Setting
Location: Oldham
Pay Rate: £16.78 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:45pm
Contract: Full-time

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated, enthusiastic and compassionate Youth Worker to join a school in Oldham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, building positive relationships and helping pupils reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support, guidance and encouragement to young people within a school environment.
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
Support pupils with their social, emotional and behavioural development.
Help manage challenging behaviour using positive and supportive approaches.
Encourage positive engagement, confidence and participation in school activities.
Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to support pupils' individual needs.
Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
Has previous experience working with young people or children.
Has a positive, patient and understanding approach.
Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Is confident supporting young people with challenging behaviour.
Is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
Can work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative.
What We Offer:
£16.78 per hour
Full-time, Monday to Friday position.
Consistent working hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm.
