You'll join a leading international manufacturing business, working alongside an experienced Senior Leadership Team where your financial insight will directly influence decisions on profitability, investment, efficiency and future growth.
Based in Markham Vale, you will report to the General Manager and have the autonomy to lead the site's finance function, challenge operational performance and make a genuine difference to how the business operates.

Your responsibilities as Financial Controller
Lead, develop and manage the site's finance team, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls and effective financial processes.
Oversee monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning to support business decisions.
Partner with operational and commercial teams to improve profitability, manage costs and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
Manage cash flow, working capital, inventory controls and stock reconciliation to strengthen financial performance.
Evaluate capital expenditure, investment proposals and business improvement initiatives, providing clear financial recommendations.
Maintain financial governance, compliance and audit standards while presenting performance insights to senior stakeholders.
What we’re looking for in a Financial Controller
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) – essential.
Previous experience in a senior finance leadership position within a manufacturing environment, ideally packaging or FMCG.
Strong management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial control experience.
Proven experience of commercial business partnering, operational performance analysis and driving profitability improvements.
Experience managing finance teams and influencing senior operational and commercial stakeholders.
