HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver - Hexham - £15.00 per hour
The Best Connection (Newcastle) is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Tipper Driver to work with a well-established client based in the Hexham area, operating within the construction and civil engineering sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver looking for regular, local work with the potential for ongoing, long-term employment.
The Role:
Operating an 8-wheel HGV Class 2 Tipper vehicle.
Transporting aggregates, soil and muck-away materials.
Driving safely on active construction sites, quarries and local roads.
Carrying out daily vehicle walk-around checks.
Ensuring full compliance with drivers' hours, tachograph and road safety regulations.
Following site-specific health and safety procedures.Pay & Hours:
£15.00 per hour.
Monday to Friday working.
06:00 AM start times.
Ongoing, long-term work available for the right candidate.Requirements:
Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
Previous experience operating an 8-wheel tipper or rigid tipper vehicle preferred.
Good knowledge of the North East road network.
Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
