Logical Personnel are looking for a Senior Planner on a very large civils site in the North East, must have experience in working on RC Framework, groundworks and drainage - MUST BE ELIDGEABLE TO LIVE AND WORK IN THE UK
Key Responsibilities
- Programme & Schedule Development: Build tender and live construction programs using tools like Primavera P6 or ASTA Powerproject.
- Sequencing Strategies: Plan complex logistics for earthworks, drainage, basements, substructures, slipform cores, and multi-storey frame pours.
- Setting Out & Control: Carry out dimensional control, site surveys, and rebar/formwork verification.
- Temporary Works & Design: Coordinate temporary works, raise Technical Queries (TQs) or Requests for Information (RFIs), and manage rebar schedules. [
- Progress Monitoring: Track daily/weekly progress against baseline programs, manage critical paths, and support commercial teams with extensions of time (EOT).
Qualifications & Software
- Education: Degree (BSc/BEng/MSc) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Certifications: Valid CSCS card and practical site or pre-construction experience.
- Software: Primavera P6, ASTA Powerproject, CAD tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
Strong understanding of construction processes from pre-construction to delivery
Minimum 5 years previous experience planning within Civil Engineering
A clear understanding of the construction process from inception to completion of a project
Excellent IT knowledge – Outlook, Word, Excel, Office and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Team player
Ability to work on your own initiative
Rates are negotiable on experience
