SW Locums is looking for a passionate, experienced and confident Qualified Adult Social Worker to join Redbridge Council in London.

The Opportunity

Pay Rate: Up to £32.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract: Full-time Locum

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Working Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities
-
Undertake comprehensive Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews.
-
Manage a varied caseload of adults with complex social care needs.

Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and adult safeguarding enquiries.
-
Develop person-centred, strengths-based care and support plans.
-
Promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes for service users.

Work collaboratively with families, carers, health professionals and multi-disciplinary teams.

Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
What We're Looking For
-
Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.

Strong experience within Adult Social Services.

Excellent knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act.

Confident managing complex caseloads independently.
-
Strong assessment, safeguarding and report-writing skills.

Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills.

A proactive practitioner with a person-centred approach.
