Adult Social Worker – Barnet, London

We are looking for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join Barnet Council on a full-time locum basis.
Role Details:

Location: Barnet, North London

Pay Rate: £32.20 per hour (Umbrella)

Working Days: Monday to Friday
-
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Contract: Full-time Locum
Key Responsibilities:
-
Undertake Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews.
-
Manage a varied caseload involving older people and adults with physical, sensory and learning disabilities.
-
Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and safeguarding enquiries.
-
Develop person-centred, strengths-based care and support plans.
-
Promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
-
Work collaboratively with families, carers, health professionals and multi-disciplinary teams.
-
Maintain accurate case records and ensure statutory requirements are met.
Essential Requirements:
-
Social Work England registration.
-
Relevant qualification in Social Work (CQSW, DipSW or equivalent).

Strong experience in Adult Social Care.
-
Good knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act.
-
Experience in safeguarding adults and managing complex cases.
-
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
-
References covering the last 3 years of practice must be available.

Full umbrella compliance required.
