I'm working with a London Borough looking for 3-4 experienced Food Safety Officers to provide additional inspection capacity from January.
You'll be helping the team reduce its outstanding inspection backlog, while having the flexibility to complete inspections around your own commitments.
The Opportunity
Pay per inspection:
Category A: £100
Category B: £85
Category C: £78
Category D: £65
Category E: £55
Outside IR35
Ad-hoc, flexible workload
Daytime, evening & weekend work available
3-month requirement from JanuaryThey need officers with strong Local Authority Food Safety experience who can confidently manage Category A-E Food Hygiene inspections independently.
It's a chance to work flexibly while knowing the inspections you complete are directly helping the council reduce its backlog and keep its Food Safety programme moving.
