A well-established specialist manufacturer in Crawley is experiencing a significant uplift in demand and needs an experienced TIG Welder to help them keep pace. A consistent Monday to Friday schedule (07:30 to 16:30, finishing at 11:00 on Fridays)

As a TIG Welder, your responsibilities will include:
TIG welding components and parts to the correct standard
Purge welding to a hygienic finish in line with food industry requirements
Measuring and marking components and parts to ensure welding standards are met
Inspecting finished work pieces to verify quality before they move on
Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance of equipment and parts
Transferring production pieces to the specified work areas
As a TIG Welder, your experience will include:
Proven TIG welding experience, ideally within food manufacturing or hygienic fabrication
Purge welding experience, particularly on stainless steel
A solid understanding of health and safety requirements for welding and fabrication
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot defects through close visual inspection
The ability to work accurately to tight production deadlines
