Document Controller – Fitzrovia, London

This Document Controller role is with one of the UK’s leading main contractors, working on Ministry of Justice (MOJ) projects based in Fitzrovia, London.
The contractor operates across a diverse range of sectors within the built environment, delivering projects across both the public and private sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established main contractor supporting government projects.
The Person
We are looking for an experienced Document Controller with a background working for a Tier 1 or top 10 main contractor. Previous experience using 4Projects and Dalux is essential, alongside a valid Security Clearance (SC) or Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate document control processes, ensuring all project documentation is properly recorded, issued and traceable.
Responsibilities will include:

Managing, recording and archiving project documentation.

Maintaining site registers and design review records.

Generating and allocating document numbers.

Quality-checking documentation and ensuring information is issued with the correct status.

Managing document control systems, including 4Projects and Dalux.

Liaising with site teams, design teams and other project stakeholders.

Ensuring documentation is accurately maintained and readily accessible.

Providing ad hoc administrative support when required.
Essential requirements:

Previous experience working for a Tier 1 or top 10 main contractor.

Strong document control experience on construction projects.

Proficiency in both 4Projects and Dalux.

Valid SC or BPSS clearance, suitable for the MOJ projects.
