Are you a reliable, customer-friendly driver who takes pride in doing a job properly?
An established and growing manufacturer is looking for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join its team in Bolton. You'll deliver products to customers, representing the business professionally and making sure every order reaches the right place safely and accurately.
You can expect to complete approximately five drops per day. The role involves manual lifting, so you'll need to be comfortable with the physical side of loading and unloading.
The role
Drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle to deliver products safely and on time.
Complete approximately eight customer deliveries per day.
Load and unload products safely, using care to prevent damage.
Check orders and delivery details carefully to ensure accuracy.
Provide friendly, helpful service when dealing with customers.
Complete delivery paperwork accurately and report any discrepancies.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
Work with the warehouse and logistics team to keep deliveries running smoothly.
Follow road safety and health and safety procedures at all times.What we're looking for
A valid C1 driving licence and Driver CPC qualification.
Previous experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
A friendly, professional manner and good customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when checking products, orders and paperwork.
A practical approach and the ability to carry out manual lifting safely.
A reliable attitude and the ability to work independently.
Good communication skills and a willingness to support the wider team.
A clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.What's on offer
