The Role
Working as part of an experienced maintenance team, you'll be responsible for servicing, inspecting, repairing and fault-finding on a wide range of mobile and static plant equipment within a busy waste and recycling operation.
You'll work on equipment including:
Loading Shovels
Waste Handlers
Skid Steer Loaders
Mobile Shredders
Forklifts
Conveyors
Vibrating Screens
Air Separation Systems
Magnet SystemsYour focus will be on minimising downtime, carrying out preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and ensuring equipment remains safe and operational.
What We're Looking For
Experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or similar
Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills
Background working on heavy plant, industrial machinery, recycling equipment, quarry machinery or construction plant
Welding experience would be highly advantageous
Good understanding of bearings, belts, conveyors and material handling systems
Strong commitment to health and safety
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Basic IT skills for completing maintenance records via tablet or mobile applications
