Receptionist
St Andrews £12.82 per hour Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 5:00pm Temporary until at least the end of December, with the potential for extension
We are currently recruiting for a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join a well-established organisation based in St Andrews. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being the face of a business and delivering a first-class experience to visitors, clients, and colleagues.
Working within a professional office environment, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and incoming enquiries, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and efficient service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting and welcoming visitors and guests in a professional and friendly manner
Managing visitor sign-ins and ensuring a positive first impression
Handling inbound telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately
Taking and relaying accurate messages
Managing calendars, appointments, and meeting room bookings
Coordinating visitor and meeting arrangements
Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties
Maintaining a tidy and professional reception area
About You
Previous reception, front-of-house, administration, or customer service experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, approachable, and welcoming manner
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
Confident using Microsoft Office and managing calendars
Reliable and able to work independently
