About the Role
We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Skilled Labourer/ Groundworker to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis in Suffolk.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in groundworks, general labouring, and assisting with the clean-up of oil spills and contaminated land. Applicants must hold a valid driving licence.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out groundworks and general site labouring duties.

Assist with the clean-up and remediation of oil spills and contaminated land.

Support the safe removal, handling and disposal of contaminated materials in accordance with site procedures and environmental regulations.

Use appropriate equipment and follow established procedures when dealing with spills and contaminated areas.

Assist with site preparation, clearance and reinstatement works.

Maintain clean, safe and organised working areas.

Handle and move materials, tools and equipment safely.

Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Report hazards, spillages and environmental concerns to the relevant supervisor.

Carry out any other reasonable duties as required.
Requirements

Previous experience in groundworks or skilled labouring.

Experience or knowledge of oil spill clean-up and contaminated land work would be advantageous.

Valid driving licence.

Clean DBS check.

Good understanding of site health, safety and environmental procedures.

Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
