General Foreman
We are looking for an experienced General Foreman to oversee earthworks operations on a highway construction scheme.
Responsibilities

Supervise site gangs, plant operators and subcontractors.

Oversee bulk earthworks, cut and fill, excavation and embankment construction.

Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme.

Coordinate labour, plant and materials to maintain productivity.

Monitor daily progress and report to the Site Manager.

Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, RAMS and site requirements.

Liaise with engineers and site management to resolve any issues.
Requirements
-
Proven experience in highway construction and earthworks.
-
Strong leadership and site supervision skills.
-
Ability to read engineering drawings.
-
Valid CSCS card; SSSTS/SMSTS preferred.
