Build meaningful client relationships and a rewarding career in financial planning
Are you a Level 4 qualified Financial Planner looking for a business where clients come first and you can genuinely develop your career?
We're recruiting for an established, employee-owned financial planning business with a collaborative team and a strong focus on long-term client relationships. Whether you're relatively early in your financial planning career or already an experienced adviser, this could be a fantastic next step.
You'll benefit from a regular supply of client leads, rather than having to build your client base entirely from scratch. Initially, you'll also look after a smaller existing client portfolio while a colleague is on maternity leave, giving you the opportunity to get to know the business, its clients and its approach.
What you'll be doing
Building trusted, lasting relationships with clients and understanding their financial goals
Providing personalised financial planning advice across pensions, investments, protection and retirement
Reviewing clients' circumstances and financial plans, making suitable recommendations
Managing and developing client relationships, with leads provided by the business
Contributing to networking and referral opportunities as you establish yourself
Working closely with colleagues and keeping your professional knowledge up to date What we're looking for
Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) - essential
Experience in financial planning or advice; applications are welcome from both developing and established planners
A sound understanding of pensions, investments and financial protection
Excellent communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with people
A thoughtful, professional and client-focused approach, with an appetite to learn and grow What's on offer
£40,000-£50,000 for someone earlier in their career, or £60,000-£70,000 for an experienced planner
Hybrid working, with two days per week in the office, and a 35-hour working week
32 days' holiday, plus bank holidays and Christmas week
5% employer pension contribution, with salary sacrifice available
Aviva private medical insurance, death-in-service cover and income protection (subject to scheme terms)
£2,000 annual individual training budget, including up to £250 for personal training
One volunteering day per year
The opportunity to develop within an established, employee-owned business Interested?
