My client is seeking a Spray Painter / Shotblaster to join their thriving business on a temporary ongoing basis.
The role is to support within the manufacturing process to exceed customer expectations and fulfil all requirements. Experience within a similar role is preferable however extensive training will be provided.
Duties to include –
- Work in compliance with paint and surface preparation work instructions.
- Maintain technical equipment ensuring good working order.
- Safely store and dispose of chemical waste.
- Maintain manufacturing documentation and MRP transactions.
- Champion continuous improvements to assist in overcoming problems and make recommendations to the following-
- Product improvement. (May involve A3 projects)
- Reduce cost by utilising tools and equipment to their full potential.
- (Standard work/Set up reduction/waste minimisation.)
- Work in a clean and tidy manner (5S/TPM).
Experience and Skills desirable -
- Previous paint spraying experience including shot blasting desired.
- EHS & COSHH
- Team player
- IT competent
- Proficiency with technical machinery
- Diligence and attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Good communication
- ISO9001
