The Opportunity
Casanovas Recruitment Solutions are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of a growing and successful business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to join a supportive accounts team where they can develop their skills and progress their career within the finance function.
The role will predominantly focus on high-volume Purchase Ledger processing, whilst also providing wider support across the finance department. The successful candidate will gain exposure to various accounting duties, making this an excellent opportunity for someone seeking long-term career development.
Key Responsibilities

Processing a high volume of Purchase Ledger invoices accurately and efficiently

Matching, batching and coding invoices

Statement reconciliations and resolving supplier queries

Managing supplier payment runs

Assisting with Sales Ledger duties as required

Supporting credit control activities

Bank reconciliations

Assisting with month-end processes
-
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

Supporting the wider accounts team with ad-hoc finance tasks

Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments
About You
-
Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant or Purchase Ledger role

Strong Purchase Ledger experience, ideally within a high-volume environment

Good understanding of accounting principles

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems

Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple priorities
