IMH Recruitment are seeking a General Yard Operative to join our client in Barnsley.
Job Duties:

Sort metals and strip down cables.

Operate power tools and hand tools to complete various yard duties

Operate the weighbridge on the yard
-
Loading and unloading vehicles
-
Keeping the yard tidy
-
Other duties as required
-
Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
About You:
-
Previous yard experience or working in a recycling/scrap metal environment would be an advantage

Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
-
Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and supervisors

Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
-
Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
-
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures
