We are looking for a Qualified Greenkeeper to join our team.
You will play a key role in maintaining and developing the course, working alongside the existing greenkeeping team to provide members and visitors with excellent playing conditions all year round.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily preperation and presentation.
- mowing and maintenance of greens, tees, approaches, fairways and rough.
- Turf repairs
- Drainage maintenance
- Proper machine maintenance
- Working safely and in accordance with club procedures and relevent legislation.
- Supporting the Head Greenkeeper with all maintenance and projects.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least 3 years greenkeeping experience.
- Has SVQ level 2 or 3 in sports turf / Greenkeeping or equivalent.
- Pa1, Pa2 and/or Pa6 sprayimg qualifications
- Has a good understanding of turf care and seasonal maintenance.
- Takes pride in there work and had excellent attention to detail.
- Is reliable, hardworking and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Can safely operate professional grounds maintenance machinery.
- Can work well as part of a team and alone competently and safely.
