GENERAL FOREMAN - CIVIL ENGINEERING - NOTTINGHAM 🚧
Fawkes & Reece are currently recruiting for an experienced General Foreman to join an established civil engineering contractor on a project in Nottingham.
📍 Location: Nottingham
💷 Salary: Competitive - Negotiable depending on experience
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced General Foreman with a strong civils background and proven experience managing site operations, labour and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day site operations, supervising direct labour and subcontractors.
Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
Coordinate plant, materials and site resources.
Manage RAMS, toolbox talks, permits and site documentation.
Work closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager.
Monitor site progress, productivity and quality.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory role.
Strong civil engineering / infrastructure background.
Valid CSCS card.
SMSTS or SSSTS desirable.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience managing labour, plant and subcontractors.
