Job Title: Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant
Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Salary/Benefits: £30k - £55k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Compliance / Safety specialist, who have a national presence. They are seeking a highly knowledgeable and qualified Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant, who is able to efficiently articulate technical matters directly to clients. You will be working across a diverse portfolio of sites, including: local authority, commercial, public sector and industrial. Experience / Qualifications:

Strong track record working as a Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant

Will ideally hold: NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Fire, Level 4 Fire Risk Diploma, Level 3 in Fire Risk Assessing, CMIOSH and / or IFE

Excellent industry technical knowledge

Adaptable to client travel requirements

Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills

Professional manner

Experience working across a range of client premises
The Role:

Conducting thorough health and safety audits across client sites
-
Performing fire risk assessments and COSHH assesssments
-
Accident and near-miss investigations
-
Reviewing existing safety plans and making amendments where necessary

Implementing new health and safety management systems on client sites

Providing detailed technical advice to clients and answering any queries
-
Delivering health and safety / fire safety training courses for clients

Working to personal and company targets

Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
