We're working with an established, international business looking for a Customer Sales Executive to join its friendly, fast-paced team on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking to customers, building relationships and turning enquiries into sales. You'll be helping customers find the right products, preparing quotations and making sure every interaction is a positive one, while playing an important part in the team's sales performance.
What will you be doing?
Handling inbound customer calls and processing orders accurately and efficiently
Responding to customer enquiries and quotation requests by phone and email
Preparing tailored quotations by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products
Identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell and suggest alternative products to increase sales
Following up on quotations to help convert opportunities into orders
Keeping customer records and order information accurate and up to date
Working closely with sales, production, warehouse teams and external suppliers to deliver excellent customer service
Managing incoming enquiries through an email management system and keeping on top of your workload
Working towards individual and team targets, including sales revenue and quotation conversionWhat are we looking for?
We'd love to hear from people who have:
At least one year's experience in a busy customer service or customer sales environment
Previous sales experience and a track record of working towards targets
Confident communication skills, both over the phone and in writing
A customer-first approach, with the ability to build rapport and understand what people need
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
A proactive attitude, with the confidence to spot opportunities and follow things through
Good IT skills, including Microsoft OfficeMost importantly, you'll enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in getting things right and be motivated by delivering a great customer experience while helping to grow sales.
