Personal Assistant to CEO
£30,000–£35,000 | Full-time, office-based | West Manchester
Are you an experienced PA who enjoys being the go-to person for a busy CEO, keeping both their professional and personal lives organised?
We’re working with a successful, fast-growing business looking for a proactive and highly organised Personal Assistant to provide direct support to its CEO. This is a varied role combining day-to-day business support with personal and family arrangements, so discretion, trust and attention to detail are essential.
This would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, thrives on variety and takes pride in making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
The role
Working closely with the CEO and supporting the wider executive office, you’ll play an important part in keeping both business and personal commitments running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing diaries, appointments and changing priorities.
Supporting email management and handling correspondence.
Coordinating business travel, accommodation and itineraries.
Arranging personal appointments, bookings and family-related matters.
Helping organise weekly priorities and maintaining trackers.
Liaising confidently with internal teams and external contacts.
Handling confidential and sensitive information with complete discretion.
Providing hands-on support with ad hoc tasks and day-to-day requests as they arise.
What we're looking for
This role requires someone who already understands what it takes to support a senior executive, rather than someone looking to move into PA work for the first time.
You'll ideally have:
At least three years' recent, direct experience supporting a CEO or Managing Director.
Proven experience managing both business responsibilities and personal or family affairs for an executive.
Experience coordinating travel, diaries and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive, practical approach and the confidence to get things done without needing constant direction.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
The ability to handle sensitive matters professionally and discreetly.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
A full UK driving licence.
We're particularly interested in someone who enjoys the day-to-day detail of a PA role, is happy to roll their sleeves up and wants to be a reliable, trusted support to the CEO.
What's on offer?
Salary of £30,000–£35,000, depending on experience.
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Office-based role with on-site parking.
25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
Company pension and employee discount.
Regular company socials and additional employee perks.
