Estimator – Main Contractor
Office-Based Role
We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established main contractor in an office-based role, working five days a week.

The successful candidate will have solid estimating experience within the construction industry, ideally with a main contractor, and be confident pricing projects accurately and competitively.
The Role

Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.

Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations.

Identifying project risks, potential savings and commercial opportunities.

Liaising with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers throughout the tender process.

Ensuring tenders are completed accurately and submitted within deadlines.
About You
-
Proven experience in an Estimator role within the construction industry.

Ideally experienced working for a main contractor.

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and costs.

Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Confident communicating with subcontractors, suppliers and colleagues.

Able to manage workloads and meet deadlines effectively.
