SEMH Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Mentor - Enfield
November Start | £100-£120 per day | PAYE
Tradewind Recruitment is looking for an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist secondary setting in Enfield, supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.
This is a great opportunity for someone who can build positive relationships, manage challenging behaviour and help pupils re-engage with their learning.
The role:
Support pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.
De-escalate challenging situations and promote positive behaviour.
Help implement behaviour plans and emotional regulation strategies.
Support pupils to engage in lessons and develop confidence.
Work closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team.
The ideal candidate:
Has previous experience in an SEMH school, PRU or alternative provision.
Holds Team Teach training or has relevant positive behaviour management experience.
Is calm, resilient and confident managing challenging behaviour.
Can build trust with young people while maintaining clear boundaries.
Is available to start ASAP.
