School Administrator (Temp to Perm)
Location: Croydon
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Contract: Temp to Perm (for the next school term)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are currently recruiting for an experienced School Administrator to join a busy and welcoming school in Croydon. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity for the upcoming school term, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will have previous administrative experience within a school environment and be confident using a school management information system such as Bromcom, Arbor, or SIMS.
Key Responsibilities

Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff.

Managing incoming calls, emails, and general school enquiries.

Maintaining accurate pupil and staff records.

Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting.

Updating information on school management systems.

Assisting with admissions, correspondence, and general office administration.

Providing administrative support to the wider school team.
Essential Requirements
-
Previous school administration experience.

Experience using Bromcom, Arbor, or SIMS.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
Desirable Skills

Previous HR administration experience.

Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, or personnel administration within a school setting.
