Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Housing Site Forklift Driver to join a busy residential development in Totnes. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a telehandler/forklift, moving materials around site, and supporting trades to ensure the project runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a telehandler/forklift safely and efficiently on a busy housing development.
Loading, unloading, and distributing materials across site.
Assisting site management with deliveries and material storage.
Supporting trades with the movement of materials as required.
Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any defects.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Adhering to all health and safety procedures on site.
Assisting with general site duties when not operating the machine.
Requirements
Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler/Forklift ticket.
Previous experience working on residential housing sites.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Full PPE required.
