Internal Sales Coordinator | Grimethorpe | Full Time | £13 per hour
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Internal Sales Coordinator to support the continued growth of the business.
The role involves supporting customers throughout the sales process, from handling enquiries and preparing quotations to following up opportunities and coordinating orders through to delivery. You will maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to increase sales through upselling, cross-selling and new business development.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
Handling incoming sales calls and customer enquiries
Preparing accurate and competitive customer quotations
Following up quotations and potential leads to maximise sales opportunities
Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services
Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate information
Liaising with Production, Operations and Logistics teams to coordinate orders and deliveries
Keeping customers updated on order progress and delivery timescales
Responding to customer queries and resolving issues promptly
Maintaining accurate customer and sales records
Providing general sales and administrative support to the wider team as required
Requirements
Essential
Experience in a customer-focused or administrative role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Excel
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident communication skills
Commercial awareness
Right to live and work in the UK
Full UK driving licence
Desirable
Previous experience in a sales role
