Electrical Improver

Duration: 6 months
Hours: 44 hours per week, with overtime available and potential 12-hour shifts

We are recruiting for 3 experienced Electrical Improvers for a six-month contract at a major oil refinery in the Immingham area.
The work is focused entirely on industrial electrical containment, specifically cable ladder rack and cable tray installation.
We're looking for reliable improvers who have solid, hands-on containment experience and are comfortable working in a heavily regulated industrial environment.
The Work

Installation of cable ladder rack and cable tray systems

Fitting and securing electrical containment

Working alongside electrical installation teams

Following site-specific health and safety procedures
Requirements
-
Previous experience as an Electrical Improver or Electrician's Mate

Proven cable ladder rack installation experience is essential

Experience installing cable tray and associated containment

Industrial experience, ideally within oil and gas, petrochemical, refineries, power generation, manufacturing or industrial process plants

Able to work safely and reliably on a high-compliance industrial site

Willing and able to comply with strict site drug and alcohol testing requirements

Available to start Monday 19 October
Relevant ECS/CSCS cards and industrial safety qualifications are beneficial, subject to confirmation of the site's entry requirements.
