We’re recruiting for a Quality Assurance & Training Coordinator to join a successful and growing food manufacturing business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in food manufacturing who is looking to develop their skills and progress within quality assurance, food safety and training.
You may already have experience in QA/QC, quality control or auditing, or you could be an experienced food manufacturing professional with a good understanding of GMP who is keen to take the next step into a quality-focused role.
Working closely with the production team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of food safety, product quality and compliance across the site. The role offers a varied mix of hands-on factory checks, GMP audits, quality documentation, updating procedures and delivering training to colleagues.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine quality checks and inspections across the factory.

Support GMP audits and ensure site standards are consistently maintained.

Complete and maintain accurate quality records and documentation.

Assist with updating procedures, work instructions and quality paperwork.

Deliver training and guidance to colleagues on quality, food safety and GMP requirements.

Work closely with production teams to promote best practice and ensure compliance.

Identify potential issues and contribute to continuous improvement across the site.

Help maintain a strong culture of quality, hygiene and food safety throughout the business.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised and passionate about maintaining high standards.
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment (essential).

Experience in QA, QC, auditing or other quality-related activities (preferred).

A good understanding of GMP and food safety standards.

Strong communication skills and the confidence to train and support colleagues.

Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.

A practical, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to identify areas for improvement.

The confidence to work hands-on in a busy factory environment.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
