The role would involve:
-
Site safety walks, inspecting new work areas and identifying hazards.
-
Delivering toolbox talks and attending H&S meetings.
-
Supporting risk assessments, RAMS and safe systems of work.
-
Supporting permits to work, inductions, incident investigations and corrective actions as required.
-
Uploading the Friday H&S packs, including MEWP and ladder checklists, lessons learned, toolbox talks and RAMS.
-
Liaising with our supervisors and Mercury’s H&S team regarding site requirements and any outstanding actions.
We would be looking for someone familiar with ISO 45001 health and safety management processes, with a practical approach to site safety and documentation.
The anticipated arrangement would be two days per week, potentially increasing to three, working 8:00am–4:30pm. We expect the requirement to run until early/mid-December, although it is more likely to continue until Christmas. We understand if this needs to be a full-time role. This shouldn’t be an issue if so
