Senior Salmon are working with a local employer who are looking to add a permanent Stock Controller to their team
Responsible for ensuring the safe transport of quality product from the manufacturing lines into the designated locations within the stockyard.
Summary
• Work towards the businesses Health and Safety goals
• Responsible for ensuring daily checks are carried out on MHE equipment in accordance with site training
• Making space within the stockyard for products and ensuring all storage and loading is undertaken safely,
• Ensure stock is receipted accurately, having an eye for detail is key.
• Have computer knowledge, the ability to work across multiple screens to check ERP systems.
• Load/transport pallets of into the stockyard/onto vehicles.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent safety awareness is essential with willingness to receive training in legislation and auditing as required
• Counterbalance, Side loader or Combi trained with current licence
• Experience of working within a similar environment
• Good numerical ability, with good computer skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem solving skills, with a high attention to detail
• Experience of MRP / Stock Control Systems
• Willingness and ability to cover other general duties
