Join a Leading International Food Manufacturer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and detail-oriented Food Technologist to join a highly successful food manufacturing business with a strong presence across UK retail and foodservice markets.
This role sits within a customer-facing technical team and offers the chance to manage key customer accounts, support new product launches, and play a vital role in ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance standards are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day technical requirements for customer accounts.
Coordinate own-label product launches from approval through to market launch.
Complete and maintain customer specifications, technical documentation and online retailer portals.
Support customer audits, technical reviews and compliance activities.
Investigate and respond to customer complaints, driving corrective actions where required.
Review artwork and product information to ensure legal and technical compliance.
Work closely with manufacturing sites, commercial teams and customers to deliver excellent service.
Support new product development projects across both branded and own-label portfolios.
Conduct product quality assessments and sensory evaluations.About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
A Food Science degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience within a food manufacturing technical or quality role.
Good knowledge of HACCP, food safety and BRC standards.
Experience working with retailer and/or foodservice specifications systems.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally.What's on Offer?
