Health & Safety Advisor
Location: Bedfordshire
Salary: £45,000–£48,000 + Company Van
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm
I’m working with a growing construction business looking to bring a Health & Safety Advisor into their team, covering residential and commercial projects.
You’ll report directly to the Head of Health & Safety, carrying out site visits, inspections, writing reports and completing RAMS. They’re looking for someone who can manage their workload independently while having the support of an experienced Head of H&S when needed.
The business has recently introduced a new safety management system and continues to win new contracts, so there’s plenty happening as they expand.
What’s in it for you?
No overnight stays, so you can be home every evening.
Direct access to the Head of Health & Safety for support and guidance.
The freedom to manage your own site visits and take ownership of your work.
The chance to develop your experience as the business grows and takes on new projects.
A close-knit team where you’ll have regular contact with colleagues rather than being left to work in isolation.
What are they looking for?
At least two years’ experience in a Health & Safety role.
Minimum Tech IOSH.
Construction experience, ideally within residential or commercial projects.
Confidence carrying out site inspections and completing reports and RAMS independently.
Groundworks experience would be a bonus but isn’t essential.
If you’re looking for a role that offers a strong salary, a company van, no overnight stays and the opportunity to take ownership of your work while still having support around you, get in touch for more details.
