Temporary Medical Secretary | Immediate Start

Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour (DOB)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Medical Secretary to join a busy GP Practice based in Cobham on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous GP Practice or public health care experience who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
Duties will include:
Audio typing and preparation of medical correspondence
Managing referrals and referral pathways
Processing medical and insurance reports
Monitoring and responding to emails
General administrative support
Liaising with patients and healthcare professionals
Supporting a team of approximately 10 GPs
Maintaining accurate medical records and documentationSystems experience required:
EMIS
Docman 10
e-Referral System
IGPR
SARSThe successful candidate will have:
Previous Medical Secretary experience
Strong administration and organisational skills
Excellent typing and communication skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience working within a GP Practice or public health care environment
