Groundworker (with Dumper & Roller)

Search Consultancy is looking for an experienced, ticketed Groundworker with Dumper and Roller tickets to join an active civils and construction site in Middlesbrough. We are partnering with an established regional contractor requiring a skilled operative proficient in all-round groundworks, including kerbing, drainage, and plant operation.
If you have a valid CSCS/CPCS/NPORS card covering Dumper and Roller, proven groundworks experience, and a strong work ethic, we have an immediate start available now.
The Role
Plant Operation: Safely operating Forward Tipping Dumper and Ride-on Ride Roller equipment around site to transport and compact materials.
Kerbing & Edging: Setting out, laying, and bed-and-backing kerbs, edgings, and flags to required site levels.
All-Round Groundworks: Carrying out shallow drainage, pipe laying, hand digging, backfilling, sub-base preparation, and concrete pours.
Site Safety: Assisting site management with general civils tasks while maintaining strict adherence to health and safety standards.
Requirements
Tickets & Accreditation: Valid CSCS card alongside CPCS or NPORS certification for Forward Tipping Dumper and Ride-on Roller.
Experience: Proven experience in all-round groundworks with specific competence in kerbing and deep/shallow civils.
Tools & Kit: Full personal hand tools (trowel, level, line & pins) and standard 5-point PPE.
Reliability: Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and commitment to safe working practices.
Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.
