Early Years Practitioner - Nursery
Location: Walthamstow, East London
Pay: £110 - £125 per day, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm

About the Role
Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming nursery in Walthamstow to recruit an experienced Early Years Practitioner for an immediate start.
The successful candidate will support children's early learning and development, creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment. You will work closely with the nursery team to deliver stimulating activities, encourage independence and support children in reaching their developmental milestones.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting children's learning through structured and play-based activities
Delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
Encouraging communication, social interaction and independence
Observing and recording children's progress and development
Supporting daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and transitions
Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Maintaining a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
The nursery is looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting - essential
Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework
Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification - desirable
Is warm, enthusiastic and confident working with young children
Is proactive, reliable and works well within a team
Has strong communication and organisational skills
