Document Controller – Construction

We are currently recruiting for a Document Controller on behalf of one of our clients, an established and expanding company within the construction industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, proactive and highly organised individual who is looking to develop their skills and progress within a growing business.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Contracts Team, ensuring project documentation is accurately managed, distributed and maintained, whilst also providing general administrative support across the business.
Key Responsibilities

Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Contracts Team, including filing, scanning and archiving documentation.

Managing the downloading, uploading and distribution of construction documents across various project portals, including Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint/4Projects, Procore and Dalux.

Ensuring all documentation is managed in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.

Maintaining accurate document registers, tracking requests and ensuring timely distribution of information.

Organising, storing and retrieving both electronic and hard copy documentation.

Booking and coordinating site inductions.

Saving and maintaining site reports on internal servers.

Managing Fieldwire backups.

Logging and tracking internal Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

Chasing outstanding project documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Work Inspection Requests (WIRs).

Supporting the Office Manager with general administrative duties.

Assisting the Accounts and Procurement teams when required.
Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a Document Controller or similar administrative role, ideally within the construction industry.

Experience using at least one construction document management platform, such as Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint, Procore or Dalux.

Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams.

A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
