Class 2 Driver – Waste Collection
£16.00 per hour | Milton Keynes MK6 | Monday-Friday | Temp to Perm
Smart Solutions are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to join a busy waste management operation in Milton Keynes.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for stable Monday-Friday work, weekly pay and the opportunity to move into a permanent position.
The Role
You will drive a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle, working alongside loaders to collect waste from residential and commercial properties across the local area.
Duties include:

Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse vehicle

Collecting and emptying bins
-
Working alongside loaders
-
Manually moving wheelie bins when required

Following allocated daily routes
-
Carrying out vehicle checks
-
Working safely around pedestrians, vehicles and members of the public

Following all health & safety procedures
Requirements
-
Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
-
Minimum 6 months' Class 2 licence experience

90 days of recent Class 2 driving experience within the last 6 months

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Previous waste/refuse or trade waste experience

Reliable and punctual
-
Comfortable with early starts and outdoor work

Good communication and teamwork skills

£16.00 per hour
