Learning Support Assistant - Gloucester

A welcoming mainstream primary school in Gloucester is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional learning needs, helping them build confidence, develop their skills and engage positively with learning.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Provide personalised 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional learning needs.
Help children engage positively with lessons and classroom activities.
Support pupils to develop their academic, social, emotional and communication skills.
Build positive relationships with children while encouraging confidence and independence.
Work alongside teachers and other professionals to support individual pupil needs.The Learning Support Assistant role offers the opportunity to become part of a welcoming and inclusive school community while gaining valuable experience supporting children within a mainstream primary setting. As a Learning Support Assistant you will play an important role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.
