Joiner Required - Shavington, Crewe
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Joiner to join one of the UK's largest and most reputable main contractors on a high-profile construction project based in Shavington, Crewe. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established company on a busy and fast-paced site.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (with potential for overtime depending on site requirements)
Role & Responsibilities:
Carrying out general joinery duties across site
Installing, repairing and maintaining timber structures and fixtures
Assisting with first and second fix joinery works as required
Reading and working from drawings and specifications
Completing joinery works safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Measuring, cutting and fitting timber and other materials
Working alongside other skilled trades and site teams
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following all site health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
Valid CSCS card or relevant site qualification (essential)
Previous experience working as a Joiner on a construction site
Proven experience in first and/or second fix joinery
Ability to read and work from drawings
Strong work ethic and good reliability
Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative when required
Own tools and full PPE
Must be able to provide a recent and checkable work reference
