We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading housing organisation for an experienced Neighbourhood Officer to join their team in Solihull on an initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

The Role:
As a Neighbourhood Officer, you will be responsible for managing a designated patch and delivering an effective tenancy and neighbourhood management service to residents.
Your responsibilities as a Neighbourhood Officer will include:
Managing a designated patch of general needs properties.
Providing effective day-to-day tenancy and neighbourhood management.
Managing tenancy-related enquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Investigating and managing low-level anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases.
Addressing tenancy breaches and taking appropriate action where required.
Carrying out tenancy visits, estate inspections and tenancy audits.
Managing complaints and responding to resident enquiries.
Supporting residents with tenancy sustainment and resolving issues at an early stage.
Liaising with internal teams, contractors and external agencies.
Identifying and reporting property, environmental and neighbourhood issues.
Maintaining accurate case records and progressing cases within agreed timescales.
Working in accordance with relevant housing legislation, policies and procedures.
Building positive relationships with residents and promoting well-managed, safe and sustainable neighbourhoods.About You:
We are looking for an experienced Neighbourhood Officer, Housing Officer, Tenancy Officer or similar housing professional, ideally with experience within a local authority or housing association.
You will have:
Experience managing a housing patch.
Strong knowledge of tenancy and neighbourhood management.
Experience dealing with low-level ASB and tenancy breaches.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively.
Experience working with vulnerable residents and partner agencies.
A proactive, professional and solution-focused approach.
Good knowledge of housing policies, procedures and relevant legislation.What's on Offer?
