General Operative – Paint Preparation
Location: Radcliffe
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Contract: Temporary to permanent
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7:30am–5:00pm; Friday, 7:30am–2:30pm
Aspired Talent is recruiting a General Operative to join the Paint Preparation department at a doorset manufacturing company in Radcliffe.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has good attention to detail and is comfortable using hand tools.
The role
Prepare doors and components ready for painting, including sanding and surface preparation.
Check surfaces for imperfections and ensure a high-quality finish before painting.
Use hand tools safely and correctly.
Follow work instructions and support the department’s production targets.
Keep your work area clean, organised and safe.
About you
Good attention to detail and a focus on quality.
An understanding of hand tools and their safe use.
A reliable approach and the ability to work well within a team.
Previous paint preparation experience would be a major advantage.
What’s on offer
£13.50 per hour.
Monday to Friday day shifts with an earlier finish on Fridays.
